In this one I tell you about the various dogs I’ve known throughout my life, and share a few stories about each of them. They were some fine, fine hounds… with one possible exception. I also share two phone calls from the hotline, including one that clears up some Downton Abbey criticism I recently received. Enjoy!
Mistakes I made in this one: I said the gassy Scooby episode happened in 1985 or 1986. That is clearly not true. My parents were probably planning their 20 year class reunion, and not 25. Which would have put it in 1980 or 1981. That makes more sense.

Also, we have a telephone hotline where you can leave your comments, questions, and suggestions. The number is 570-290-8151. Give us a call and there’s a very good chance you’ll be part of a future show. It’s all voicemail, no actual human will answer. A few pics of our dogs. Who doesn’t love pics of dogs?
My brother and Dusty, a million years ago.
Scooby, the King of Dogs. I took this picture with my Canon AE1 in the early 1980s.
Andy, the best dog in the history of dogs. AKA Black Lips Houlihan. He lived to be 17 years old and it wasn’t nearly enough.
An action shot of the late, great Andy, always in hot pursuit of food. I’ll never stop missing that guy.
